Ending 2020 With an Attitude of Gratitude

As this month and year comes to an end we want to reflect on everything we are grateful for. 2020 has been a great test of strength and community and our customers really came through for us!

January 1, we officially became 75 years in business and we’re so grateful we were able to honor that with all our customers this month. We are also thankful for the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce’s support and our article in Spotlight News Guilderland.

In March, when everything shutdown dozens from our community bought gift cards to support us. We were also able to provide Covid-19 care packages for any healthcare workers on the frontline. These packages are $100 in value and include a $50 donation from us and a matching donation from one of our customers.  You can read more about our care packages here.

We were sad to miss prom and bridal season but we had a fabulous summer! In June, when we reopened we were flooded with everyone coming back. Women from all over the Capital Region were anxious to pick up their special orders or get fitted.

As the summer months came to an end we focused on Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Madame Pirie has been doing mastectomy fittings for 40 years and were one of the first places in upstate New York to do them. We continue to be busy with surgical clients! Thank you!

This month, after the US Elections, we were able to officially celebrate our 75 years in business! You can check out some of our previous blogs celebrating the history of the business, the women behind its success, and of course our current owner Rosa Belleville. Come by and see our history table set up in store and say hello to Rosa!

As we head into the holiday season we hope to see everyone come out. We have a great selection of cozy PJs, warm robes and of course high-end quality bras.

All staff at Madame Pirie go through extensive professional training to help every woman find the perfect fitting bras. We make sure every woman who leaves our store feels confident and beautiful! For everyone’s safety we wear masks and face shields for bra fittings.

From our family to yours, thank you! Thank you for keeping our business going and here’s to another 75 years in business! Stay safe and healthy!
